Hiss Golden Messenger
at Irving Plaza Manhattan
MC Taylor cut the 2026 album I'm People at Dreamland, a decommissioned church outside Woodstock, New York, co-producing with Josh Kaufman because he wanted the record to feel the way that upstate place feels. He started the band in Durham, North Carolina, in 2007 after the breakup of The Court and Spark, and the 2019 Merge album Terms of Surrender drew a Best Americana Album Grammy nomination.
Why Irving Plaza: A classic 1,000-cap rock room, the kind of size where the whole crowd feels like the show.
