The Bones of J.R. Jones, Chris Kasper
at Elsewhere Brooklyn
Jonathon Linaberry's one man band project, run from a farmhouse in Delhi in the western Catskills, where he says his life slows down. He came up in hardcore and punk bands before turning to gospel, folk and Delta blues, and plays most of the instruments himself, banjo and pedal steel included. Slow Lightning arrived in 2023; Radio Waves, his first album with an outside producer, Robbie Lackritz, followed.
Why Elsewhere: Several shows a night across several spaces, plus a rooftop, it's a whole night out under one roof.
